When in Subic

My high school brothers and sisters and I went at Zambales last April 14, 2011 until the 15th. It’s our first time to travel together away from our hometown for a beach party to officially start the summer. We have done this every year since we graduated from high school as form of reunion. We’re only used to settle to any resort out here in our province but this time, we took it to the next level - more exciting, more fun, and more good times! :)

Aside from the light coming from the moon, this was the only source of light that helped us see smiles on each face.

After finishing our breakfast, we went island hopping!

First island that we saw was Richard Gomez’ Snake Island. I’m sure Lucy is a mermaid in it.

It’s fun to ride a boat especially when you don’t do it on a regular basis.

Next stop was the White Castle where we played around the most!

I was afraid to go a little further from the rocks at first. But after building quite confidence…

My dream of jumping into the sea without knowing how deep it is has finally come true!

The next island we set our feet on was this where this old light house stands. We explored the island and went swimming, of course.

When we got back to the resort, we started preparing our lunch. After eating, rested a bit, then prepared to leave the place.

And we’re set to leave the lovely island with the unforgettable experience in our hearts.

On the trip, everyone fell asleep. I just woke up accidentally so I got them taken pictures of. Haha

For dinner, we dined in KFC in SM Pampanga.

At last, we’re finally home!

Summer Reunion 2.0

*Assume it’s May 9, 2010 as you read this.

Yesterday, my HS brothers and sisters had our second annual summer party at Dream Water Resort and Hotel, our favorite hang-out place. This time, only few did make it because almost everyone’s really busy about summer classes, location, and a lot more like financial crisis. LOL Anyways, our call time was 10:00am but as usual, Filipino time sickness struck, we left at around 2:00pm. I know we’re very late! Haha I asked my Tita to help me out for our food. She cooked spaghetti, Adobo with sisig na mangga, and tocino. I said to them that I would take care of some of our food since I just celebrated my birthday on the 3rd so we wouldn’t need to contribute money for the food. By the way, our Virna Yamsuan was actually celebrating her 18thbirthday  ans so she couldn’t come because she had to spend that day with her family. OK, so even if we were just about 10, we went through because if we didn’t, we would have struggles again planning. Most of the time those unplanned outings are the ones that push through. Ironic but it’s true because it’s what happens to us. Haha And then we reached Dream Water before 2:00pm. I was very touched by Bagyo because he traveled all the way from Manila just to be with us on that special occasion. Even if we were few, as I’m saying, all of us enjoyed it as if our batch was complete. JP who came from the funeral procession of their family friend made it too as he promised to drive for us. Haha Romalyn too whom I expecting couldn’t come because she had classes also came with us! She bought our snacks that caused her to lose her allowance for that day. LOL Ryan was also one of the causes of our delay. He went at his house again to ask permission from her Lola and we waited for him for more than 30 minutes. Nicole wouldn’t be with us too if Bagyo didn’t call him and threat to kill him if he wouldn’t come. haha We had no problems with Keith, Renan, and Jack except that they didn’t bring a lot of money. JK :)) After we ate our ate late lunch, we changed our clothes to our swimming attire and then hit the pool to beat the heat of summer! We enjoyed swimming and swimming and laughing and laughing and everything else we did! And I shouldn’t forget to mention about the scene stealer that day, my beach ball. They were really laughing when they saw it as if it’s really their first time to see such ball. LOL I think 6 of them helped one another to inflate the ball. LOL They were really amazed. Not only that, it was not us who only played with my beach ball. Other people whom we don’t know and are totally strangers to us borrowed the ball and played with it. They too were so attracted to the ball as we play with them. Haha We went out of the pool at around 7:30pm and then packed all of our things to leave. It was past 8:00pm when we left the resort and we used JP’s XLT to get home. Thanks to JP’s kindness and he brought all of us home to our respective houses. It’s nothing with them as long as it’s for out batch. Sweeeeet! :”> We planned to have some drinks at Bagyo’s place before we go home but most of us needed to go home already so we postponed it on this day but because Bagyo had an important thing to do, again we postponed it on Tuesday instead. When we brought Romalyn home, we had a chance to see her baby and we played with the first baby of our batch for a few minutes before we continued getting home. After we left Romalyn home, we passed by Tine’s house so we could see her. She wasn’t able to come because her cousin who died had he’s funeral procession too. It’s nice seeing her though especially to those who haven’t seen her for quite long time like JP and others too. It’s almost 10:00pm already when I reached our house. All I can say about this gathering of ours is truly amazing. I even told them to my GM that it’s one of my most unforgettable gig we had. I know I always say this on Tumblr but Mace08 had the best friendship on earth! :) Beat us if you can. :P Haha I love my brothers and sisters soooo much. :) Yay.

Hello, Tumblr! :) I haven’t talked to you for quite a while now. Since I decided to update my account on a daily basis tonight, let me start on this date, May 1. I know I just made a nice decision! :)) Haha Ask me how I started my day off. I woke up at 9:30am to get ready to attend the Mass because today is the feast of the Patron Saint of my hometown, Virgen Divina Pastora. I was with my Grandmother who was fresh from Antipolo then and after the hour-long Mass, we dropped by the house of her niece. More or less, we reached our own house at 1:00pm. Few minutes after I set foot on our house, I hit the computer to satisfy my internet craving. Haha I think it had been almost an hour that I was in front of the computer when two of my friends sisters came in the house. Lean and Romalyn were here to invite me to go out! Of course, because we only get to hang out (just the three of us) very rarely since we graduated from high school and I missed them so much, I came along excitedly! And just so you know, there’s no way I could refuse just to be with the both of them. We went at Walter Mart without any sure plan what to do in there. We decided to have a Mr. Softy ice cream. Since the both them were full, they haven’t eaten everything and left a lot uneaten. By the way, when they came, I asked them to eat lunch with me since I wasn’t able to eat lunch yet. Again, we strolled at the mall like we used to do when we were high school students. We entered shops we wanted to and made a lot of fun with the things we see like toys, household items, clothes, shoes, and everything else! We also bought chocolates and 3 bracelets that are totally the same as a symbol of our precious friendship. When the three of us are all together, laughing is our favorite pastime. Nothing can be compared with our powerful laugh! Haha When we laugh, our voices jive and synchronize! It’s like a trio when speaking of singing. :)) Anyhows, at 5:30pm, before Lean and Roma had to go, we decided to eat at McDonald’s. All of us had Fruity Strawberry Sundaes. I got a cheeseburger, fries, pineapple juice, and a spaghetti. Roma got crispy chicken sandwich, fries, and Coke. Lean had double cheese burger, large coke, and a fries. The spaghetti that I ordered was actually for the three of us. We love sharing on a food! Haha It took us less than 30 minutes to finish eating because they really had to go home. Overall, even though our “reunion” was quick, I had fun. I really felt happy every time we go out together. I love the both them! They truly are my sisters. :)

Friendship And Beyond

Last night, I went out with my brothers and sisters, my high school friends, to party. We laughed, ate, chatted, and drank all night at a bar near our university. We’re in 2nd year college now. We don’t go to one university though. Alright, on topic, I enjoyed it as much as I always did everytime we hang out when we were high shool students. Spending time with them is precious! Yeah, they’re the best. By that I mean WE are the best. Our relationship is beyod friendship that’s why I call them brothers and sisters. I love them so much! It’s really a big help to us to always make a point seeing each other once in a while or more often whenever all of us are free. It makes our relationship better than we had in high school. It also keeps our relationship strong! Being with them is incomparable. Would you believe that I sacrificed something that can bring out a conseqence that I would regret the next day just to be with some of my brothers and sisters? Haha We have quizzes, recitations, and reporting in class the next day. In stead of reviewing and practicing everything, I chose to be with them. And guess what happened to me today, I screwed up in class. In my reporting this morning, I was so spontaneous that I forgot to explain some or most of the important things about my topic. Our professor was staring at me the whole time I was standing in front of the class. After our class, I was like, “WTF! Was that me who made a mess like that?” LOL =)) But at the beginning of my report, ha, I caught everbody’s attention and they never thought I could make something different from normal routines in reporting. And I knew that my professor was impressed by that particular thing I did to get their attention. Haha On the other hand, I had an epic fail in my quiz in Accounting. It was really easy only if I had reviewed my notes. :(( I therefore can predict after taking the test that my score for it would be the lowest score I could ever get in my student life particularly in Accounting! Gaaaah. But I don’t regret chosing hanging out with my brothers and sisters over studying. I’m no grade-concious person anymore! Haha High grades are not the assessment of how effective person I am in the industry that I’m about to be in after college. All I have to work on is to be a better person to be deserving of the opportunities that are coming in my life. Besides, when I get perfect scores, I don’t get as much happniess as I get being with the persons that I so love. It’s the coolest thing in life, being with the people that won’t let you down. :) Let me ask you, would you do the same thing as I did? Haha So, I guess this is all I should share to you this time.
