My Kind of Life

Video

Today, I’ve been a certified voter of the Philippines. Also, I’ve played an important role on the very first automated election of our country and it makes me feel very lucky to experience something like that as a first time voter. Huzzah! :) I must say that my experience wasn’t as good as I was expecting because the PCOS machine in the precinct I’m in wasn’t working. Not to mention some undisciplined countrymen who were not forming lines properly and the worst thing was they were overtaking those in line who had been there for quite a long time like me. I couldn’t complain about that and instead, I just managed my temper good enough. I waited for at least 4 hours and after I voted, since PCOS machine wasn’t at work, I left my ballot on the table where others left theirs, making me feel that my vote wasn’t secured enough. On a positive note though, even if my encounter is just average as I rate it, I can say I’m now a certified responsible citizen of my country and I hope that the vote I cast will contribute to the changes everyone is hoping for. God bless the Philippines. Mabuhay!
